As a builder, do you prefer to carry out extensions or conversions?

After over allthe years of working on  extensions and conversions I still enjoy both.
 loft conversions ( dormers or roof lights ) were always A favorite . I think that converting say a barn or commercial property and the repurposing of a property is a job i have always enjoyed. An extension is a planned project and does not really hold the challenges of converting a property that i enjoy .  I do not believe that it is for me to decide what a client would prefer unfortunately money or the budget is usually the deciding factor.

Hi. We do both but a 
Conversion it's much less expensive and much less work. Not much planning required if needed

Either I don’t mind what ever the customer needs doing no matter how big or small we will do it
