Do yourself a favour and don't let this man do any work on your property. I had 7 new doors fitted and he said he was a painter and decorator. He painted the doors without any undercoat even though I bought it, he tried to say it didn't need it because they were primed. My doors and skirting boards were painted and its all peeling. There were parts that wasn't painted properly so went over it myself so it was dry the next day for wallpaper to go up. It took him 3 days to paint a little hallway and the 3rd day he brought someone else with him. I went by my gut feeling that he didn't know what he was doing and thank god I did because if he can't paint then how is he going to put wallpaper up. It has cost me twice the amount now to get my hallway done because my professional decorator has had to repair the damage he done. One of my new doors was stuck because he painted it and closed it so when I had to pull it open it ripped the wood on my new door. He sanded the walls with all my doors open so all the dust was all over everything in my rooms. I said to him he owed me the money for the damage but is just ignoring my messages. BIG BIG mistake. He will give you a very good quote like me £200 for painting and wallpaper and it will be cheaper than a lot of people but it's not worth it because it won't be done professionally. Don't fall for it like I did. Your better of paying that extra. He didn't have any reviews and I trusted him because everyone has to start somewhere to get there 1st review. Always make sure you get all their details before accepting them.
