The work was complete but I think it was a ridiculous price for less than an hours work, I paid as I was alone and cornered but I wish I didn't.

I asked for a job around £100 .i knew it was simple .it took the plumber 10 minutes.The plumber was great he wasn’t in control of the business. The bill then came to £240 .. I refused to pay and settled for £160 … Beware of extra costs!!!!!

They rang me within 5 minutes of posting the job and said they could get a plumber to me within 45 minutes as they were in the areas. The plumber arrived in good time but started fixing the issue (rusted radiator stopper) without discussing price. When I asked I was quoted £185, which was £55 for parts and the rest labor. I explained I had set my budgets at £100 and that the stoppers online were a maximum of £10. The quote then was dropped down to £120. The job was done quickly however definitely on the more expensive side

Last Friday (12/15/23) I requested work to unblock my pipe. A man came to my house and I told him what problem I was having. He came into my bathroom and told me that the problem was with the pipes outside and charged me £40 plus VAT which came to £48 without solving the problem. As I was alone, I paid for fear of him doing something to me if I didn't pay. I don't think it's fair that I pay £48 just for someone to come to my house and listen to what problem I'm having and tell me that there's nothing they can do and the problem is in the outside pipe. At no point was I told that there would be a travel cost and that I would be charged the same if he was unable to resolve the problem.

I am more than happy with the completion and standard of the work . I am shocked and amazed that a small job that took less than 30 minutes to complete could be priced at £330.00 !!!. I did state that my budget was £100.00. And even that amount for a small job was excessive. Hopefully common sense will prevail.

I spoke to a person over the telephone called Brian this morning over a job post. The job was to replace a valve for the leaking toilet. I was not told there was a £40 call out charge for the service all i was told was that the plumber is 1 hour away and will be there. Not once did he mention anything about the call out fee. He was very eager to send him streight away. I asked for a rough quote and he said the plumber will be able to quote you when he is there. The plumber arrive and had a look at the job. He rang Brian and explained that the valve needs replacing with roughly should cost no more than £70-£80, Brian told his plumber to charge me £305 for the job which includes the call out fee which he did not mention at all before the plumber came out.This company is one of the worst i have come across.

The plumber arrived within 2 hours and completed the job quickly. I was sent an email with the invoice on £345 for a 15 minute job with included a part. £50 call out, £220 for labour and £75 for parts. I refused to pay and received another invoice for £245.00. Please be aware of this company I was given an invoice with a Preston Company address and then asked to pay into a private account

Job was very well done. Bill was extortionate. £220 Labour for 1 hour plus £220 for £25 worth of parts plus £40 vat. Reduced by £100 when I refused to pay.
