Replace Secured Tiles on Gable End
Climbed ladder to look at missing tile, immediately told me I needed chimney rebuilding at £450. Then at the end charged me £40 more than quoted insisting that is what he said, even though I had gone and taken said amount from bank, Which why would I give myself a second trip? Sent his pal up to put tile in, borrowed a bucket and put cement in without taking any of the old out. Fills me full of confidence

Ridge tile repainting repair
Looks like a good job has been done by Roy and his mate, but only time will tell. Pleased that the work is guaranteed for ten years. When it became apparent that there were more issues with the roof than I'd originally thought, Roy said that he could put things right and we agreed a price. With hindsight, I think that I should have found other quotes at this point as Roy did seem a bit pricy. However, I am pleased with the work done and would recommend Roy's company.

Roof Repair
It started as a replace some tiles and ended as replace two faces of the roof. Work standard excellent 5/5 Price- should have got new quotes after the change of requirement rather than accepting offer on the spot. 2/5 Attendance not reliable seemed that they were coming from the usual excuses for non-attendance script. Possibly running too many jobs at once 1/5 Didn't clear site in the end. 1/5 Moral- if the spec changes dramatically get three quotes.

Guttering and Rainwater Pipe
Roy, a very pleasant and knowledgeable man showed up on time, surveyed the work and we agreed a price. He set to and did the work to my satisfaction and cleared away all debris. Would quite happily seek him out if I had other work.
