I would never use this builder again. He came to repair my leaking roof and recommended that my entire tile roof needed replacing with a felt roof due to its low pitch. He seemed knowledgeable and energetic but I felt completely steamrolled by him. I agreed to the written quote of £4900 but then had to pay £1950 for the materials upfront. He promised a crew of 6 guys to do the job in one day, this did not happen. The work was planned for a Monday but due to a good weather forecast he brought it forward to Saturday . Three guys( Who it later turned out where not know to him but where subcontracted by some one else) came and demolished my roof leaving a pile of un bagged rubble in the garden. I was left without a roof for two nights in heavy rain causing even more water damage to my roof, ceiling and flooring. He did not come to the house to put a tarpaulin over it as he promised on the phone on Saturday evening. On the Monday morning the builder tried to get out of coming to the house as he said he had no men and the weather was bad . We insisted that he came to make the roof water tight. He tried to make amends by single handedly working to complete the roof on the third day and offered me a reduction to the bill of £400 but then charged me extra £200 to remove the rubble despite it being part of the original quote. H gave me the impression that he would not have taken it if I had not paid the £200. He did not complete the job according to the written quote as the guttering has not been connected so water is pouring across the roof when it rains. The builder has been polite but hard to get hold of to sort problems and kept giving different excuses for problems . I didn’t feel that his labourers respected my home, they left my doors wide open when they left my house with out anyone knowing where they had gone not even the boss. This builder seemed to me to have a very chaotic management of his crew. In my opinion the roof shows very poor quality workmanship it looks more like a farm out building rather than a home. It looks terrible and rainwater is still pouring in. I would not recommend this builder.

Lewis and the crew were friendly and helpful. Lewis fully explained all the options available and the reasons why the work was required. They left the site clean and tidy. The workmanship has been tested due to heavy rain, glad to report no leaks. Thanks to Lewis and the crew.

Quick response to add, came the next day and gave a quote and was able to complete the job that day too. Took time to talk me through everything, kind, conscientious and did a really good job.

We only wanted a small job done but they kept finding other jobs and wouldn't complete one until we had paid. This went on and on and their final job was never completed because we didn't agree to them doing yet another major job. They were happy, fast, friendly workewrs but we felt as elderly people that they were taking advantage of us

We are waiting to see if the job holds out.

These guys were great, were upfront with the cost, came within a hour and fixed our issue quickly.

They find the source of the leak, which is not in my apartment but to establish the source/cause of it (from 9th floor and I'm on the 7th). He did break (knocked down) the 'card board' wall where the vent pipe is. It is dripping constantly and it has been for some time. The rest ofcthe job need to be done by building association who is owner ofcthis building. They took the rubbish (from.the wall) away to recycle correctly. Due to Saturday call this was an emergency call, the charge reflects that. Lewis was very nice and professional and assuring that this can be fixed. I would only recommend this business.

Reach out, quote, availability was good, the workmanship was utter garbage. The old pipe was cut but only the upper part removed. The lower bit was cut and then just sealed with some gunk. The upper part was not fixed against the wall. Sealant/silicone smeared over the bricks, one of which was seriously damaged. In a follow up call he was evasive, said he could come and fix it, which i refused on the basis that hours earlier it was messed up in the first place, so I accept refusal of him attempting to make it good.

Needed toilet changed and taps changed.. although the job was done within the same day of the quote.. for me personally for the amount I paid I didn’t think the job was justified to the standard I expected.
