    Hard Wiring Electric Cooker

Sadly I have a leave a honest review. Firstly I asked them to hard wire a cooker in but I was told because of my consumer unit wasn't up to standard. and he couldn't issue a certificate. I agreed to have a new consumer unit fitted that is when my nightmare started. My electrics were tripping out all the time with different appliances. My toaster kettle and iron all stopped working my combination oven/ microwave and airrfry set on fire. Then late after the electrician had left all power went off. I contacted the electrician and was via text and he told me he was ill in bed. I end up using my emergency insurance cover who turned up following day mid afternoon. I told them I'd finally got it on again after switching three sockets off. Mr wade then came to finish putting a 10 mm cable in the bathroom and a fan and new lights. After Mr Wade had left my neighbour visited and told me the cable that had been used is internal and not suitable for external use. He advised me to get a independent electrician to do a inspection. I then went on the NICEIC website and found my nearest independent electrician. They came around and we found out that Mr Wade had broken the shower base and the shower wasn't working at all. Mr Wade made a big thing about who fitted the shower saying they'd left three screws out of it. I told him British gas and said I'd complain. When the new electrician came he told me the shower wasn't working at all and he struggled to get the lights on. He then said all the cables need to be changed or brought inside and the 6mm cable needed to be removed because you don't need both 10 mm and 6mm. Then he inspection consumer unit which he says is very messy and needs sorting out and where the cables enter there should be a rubber gromit to protect the cables rubbing on the Sharp mental. Mr Wade did offer to do the work but the next day changed his mind says it would be uncomfortable which I totally agree plus by now I'd lost all faith in his ability. He is supposed to be a trained electrician but I don't understand why he made so many mistakes . I know we all have off days but it's ridiculous when your asking a professional to do a job. He told me he didn't want any money for the second job which I felt awful about I have never not paid a trades person. Now I have to wait until this new electrician can fit me in putting my bathroom on hold. From now on I'll only use professionals that are with trade organisations that offer certificates when you have work done. I know Mr wade hadn't been feeling well and I asked him many times if he needed to go home since he'd be going up a very high ladder I didn't think it was advisable. He is a lovely man but unfortunately his work wasn't up to standard and now everything is been removed and new work been done.. Wade electrical is a new company and he states he is updating his training this will stop hopefully mistakes been made. I have to give a honest review and don't want to damage wade electrical but I also have to be truthful. Lovely chap a pleasure to have doing the job but sadly not up to standard. Also he kept saying he would issue certificates but my new electrician says he couldn't because he is not registered with NICEIC only registered with ECR which is a gold card which proves he has passed his level 3 NVQ. But NICEIC make sure their tradesman are checked every 12 month and their training is fully upto date with training . Been truthful I was surprised how reasonable these electricians are. I really do wish wade electrical good luck
