Beware of this Trader! The review I give on this site is my honest opinion and at 74 years of age I have never had the misfortune of dealing with such an unscrupulous tradesman as Michael Kempson. Unfortunately, this site does not allow me to give a full account of his cons, lies, broken promises and deceit which takes up 4 pages of A4 which I have just submitted to the Courts in order to obtain a full refund for the £900 deposit he took from me at the outset in February. I now believe he had no intention of doing the work and just needed cash to tide him over for whatever reason. He was very quick to call round with samples after giving his estimate for the work, not at my request, he even dropped his price by £300 and included the fitting of our new washing machine and dishwasher in order to secure the work and get some cash which I paid into his personal account and not a trade account. I gave him so many chances to do the work and ease his cash flow and he still cheated on me whilst also blocking my mobile, my wife’s mobile and my landline. He even gave me a name of the stone company he was using to manufacture our new worktop and after failing to turn up once again, I contacted them and they had never heard of him. Install Handrail and Shelve Cupboard
Twistedknott quoted me for 2 jobs & were available to do both this week. The work completed was excellent & the 2 men working here were polite & efficient . They left the property so clean & tidy. Twistedknott were the best tradesmen that I have employed anywhere. Highly recommended.

Stud Wall
Michael started off well and then after taking deposits for other work has not delivered as repeatedly promised. We have now asked for our deposits back and he is no longer responding to messages. The age old excuses of family emergencies were used over and over again. We are now out of pocket with incomplete works outstanding. The place has also been left in a mess and no clean up after works has been done.

Flat Pack Furniture Assembly
Michael was excellent with great communication. He did what he said he would, when he said he would. No Hesitation in recommending them. Have a job for next year and will be using them again
