Very nice young man and did the job quickly and cleanly. but preferred payment in cash. Like many single female pensioners on the Park I do not keep large amounts of cash in the house. It therefore necessitated a trip by me to the local cash point by bus on the Saturday as he wanted to be paid the next day. The weather on that day was horrendous. Very cold with high winds which worsened as the day went by. Had I known that the weather would be so bad I would have asked Chris to call back on the Monday as I am 82 and not in the best of health. Having to go out was a nasty ordeal for me. I would like to recommend him to the Park's residents. However, the fact that he does not accept payment by card machine (or even by cheque) like most of the tradesman who operate on the Park, I am afraid I cannot do so. Such a pity as I am sure he could have done good business on the Park.
