We met Rob and really trusted him with the job at hand. I asked him to start the work of removing the kitchen, and plastering whatever the resulting walls ended up being like. He gave us a range of what the price could be, allowing for different eventualities. We asked that he start three weeks ahead of the kitchen fitting (by someone else) to allow for plenty of time and no delays as we had absolutely no wriggle room at all, to which point Rob reassured me he could get the job done in two weeks. On stripping the walls, parts were found to have some damp (not entirely unexpected as this is a basement conversion and we have had damp proofing done elsewhere on this floor). He suggested we have an extra layer applied to protect against damp, which we agreed with. This then delayed the process and the Saturday before the Monday the kitchen was due to be installed, he told me that they would not be finished. He asked me if we could push the kitchen back, and I said no, it wouldn’t be possible. Rob then told me that it was okay, they could finish the plastering after the kitchen was fitted. I bought some tiles and messaged him on the Friday if he was coming on Monday, he then told me he wouldn’t be able to come til Thursday or Friday. He then told me on Thursday morning that he wouldn’t be able to come til Monday. I then messaged him late Sunday night to check when he was arriving on Monday, at which point he told me he wouldn’t be coming until Tuesday. I messaged him on Monday evening and Tuesday morning, and he replied half an hour before he was due to arrive saying he wouldn’t be coming until Thursday. I asked for an update the next day (Wednesday) and then had to message again on Thursday asking if he was still coming, and he replied saying no, would Tuesday work. I then replied yes, next messaging him on Tuesday morning asking when he would be arriving, to which he replied ‘closer to dinner time’, and when I replied at 1pm asking when he was coming, he let us down once again by replying ‘been held up, can it be Thursday’ to which I responded that no we need the work doing by someone reliable. He accepted this response all too happily, which leads me to believe that he found another job that he considered more worthy of his time. Very disappointing as the quality of his work seemed good and seemed a nice guy, but he found it far too easy to give up on a job half done.

Robert gave a competetive quote after a very prompt site visit, and completed the job next day. Nice guy and excellent job done. 5 stars

Absolutely fantastic service. Robert is really friendly and patient. Skimming and plastering of ceilings done quickly and to a really good standard. We also had Robert test and get our electrics up to standard/ code. Robert is also going to help us with the renovation of our bathrooms. We are really pleased with the work completed and would reconmend Robert for many jobs/ services.

Robert was quick to come and quote for the job. Also added an extra little job on with no issues. It was booked in and completed in a very timely manor.
