He is no joiner at all, he ruined my new decor, which I had to have put right, plus the materials I paid for, did not cost 250.00, he brought dirty hardboard from his own house, an I paid for it, to been brand new, don't use this joiner at all, iv had to get someone in to put the work right.

Terry SeniorI worked for Carol for three days and at each stage of the three days work she had ample opportunity to voice her opinion. I left full reciepts for the materials used from B&Q. Her painter had left three doors that needed refitting and his paintwork work was damaged due to me having to plane off the excess paint. Carol does not mention that she asked me to use used plywood that she agreed to me using to keep the cost down or the washing machine that I plumbed in. So in short I refitted one external door and three internal doors and plumbed in a washing machine. I then built from scratch a wardrope with two internal doors and surrounding frame work all which I completed to her specifications for £250. I think that is a job well done! I am affraid you cannot please all of the people all of the time. Carol I am affraid we are living in 2017. Gone are the days when you got a days work for less than £50. If Carol would have got me in before getting the whole flat decorated then she could have saved herself some expence.
General Repair / Maintenance
As a family-run business, we strive for ensuring our workplace is safe for our employees. With the knowledge of this building being relatively old (and straight after noticing the sink partially dipping through the floor!), we removed a small section of the floor and chipboard to reveal rotten joists. As a result of this, we required some help with replacing these joists as they were becoming unsafe for our working environment; alongside a new floor (as a result of removing the old one to fit new joists). Mr. Senior responded to our advertisement and, with the approval of our main joiner, we decided to take him on for the job. Mr. Senior provided excellent support for removing the floor (including chipboard), alongside helping us decide on the joists that were safe to keep and helping us to remove the rotten joists. His willingness to purchase and collect the necessary supplies (such as joists, chipboard, etc.) were as favourable as his contributions towards fitting the new joists and the two layers of new chipboard. He helped us to ensure all equipment was placed back in original locations and went the extra mile by helping us bring new (very heavy!) equipment into the workplace. Overall an excellent team member with a varied knowledge and specialism, Mr. Senior provided great support and helped us get the job done to higher-than-expected standards for an excellent price.
