Skirting Boards, Rails & Coving
The board was screwed to the wall and 9 brackets in white were used to fix the rail to the board.I was satisfied with that. I decided I didn't want the small skirting board replaced as it meant disturbing the beading edging the laminate floor. I asked Jon to replace the sealant as well as the side of the stairs sealant.I wasn't to pleased with the result.I discussed it with Jon and he explained that it would cost a lot more to remove it back to the base and I decided I would leave it for now and get it done at a later date.I would ask Jon to do it. Unfortunately the drill went through the wall into my lounge,but Jon came back the next day to finish the repair,having taken the time to go to Brewers to match the paint on my wall,and you cannot tell the hole was there now. Coving wasn't on my list of jobs I don't know how that got onto my quote. I found Jon to be very pleasant,on time,and explained every stage of the job,and the price was reasonable.I would certainly use him again.
