About
I carry out electrical work at the highest standard, with over ten years experience in electrical engineering. My main aims are to deliver the best possible service and help my clients reduce their energy bills while getting the best out of their home technology. All my work is fully guaranteed, insured and documented on Part P /BS7671 compliance certificates. I started my career as a stage electrician in 2003. These days I prefer to work in domestic electrics, though I still carry out stage electrics for certain clients I have been loyal to for years. I cover a wide range of services including new installations such as new lights or power sockets, repairs to home technology such as ovens, lights or even hair straighteners. I carry out condition reports (also known as periodic inspection and testing) and PAT testing (portable appliance testing) both of which are recommended to Landlords and often required for contents insurance.
A typical day for me could involve anything from crawling under the house to repair a fault thats has caused a power cut to installing a new bathroom fan...
I also create unique bespoke lighting installations from scratch in my own workshop. I consider these pieces not just lights but art installations, much of what I have to offer is produced from upcycled antiques or from specific materials that have sentimental value to my clients, such as bottles from special occasions and even tools from a retired carpenters workshop.
