Plaster Skimming
Stuart firstly told me that the job would take 2 days after sending him photos of the job. Quoted £600 for plastering alone and I had to get an electrician in to do the lights. Although the quote was more expensive than another quote I went with Stuart as he seemed the more experienced of the 2. I took the 2 days off work we had arranged only for Stuart to email me the evening before he was due to come to say his van had broken down so wouldn't be able to make it! They came the day after they were supposed to start the job and seemed to do ok although hadn't finished what they told me they would that morning I gave him £200 for him to purchase materials. The second day my partner had to take the day off but again they hadn't completed the amount of work they told me they would so told him they would have to come back on the Saturday to finish the job and it should take another 5 hours he asked for another £100 to pay his lad which my partner gave him. When he arrived on the Saturday I pointed out 3 areas which he had either missed or was a mess he then started complaining that there was an extra ceiling that I hadn't told him about even though I told him the walls were in the photos I'd sent him! He then said right that's it we are going asked for another £200 which I refused to give him until he finished the job and they then packed up their stuff and he told me he would report me for not paying for a job he had not finished.

SP Plasteringthis women just didnt want to pay in the first place.kept adding little bits on here and there.if you tradesmen out there looking at this review dont go near.she was not very pleasent in the end.left a couple of snaggs to do on the sat,but her manner was not apropiate.i dont use this site as i have no need to use silly daft sites like these.and besides its hard enough making a living without the demise of the true legitimate customer anymore.the pictures she sent me did not show the ceilings were curved witch was not a problem.at the end of the day i take shit off no one,and if they dont like the truth or want extra work done for nothing there welcome to try some other mug.but not this man.
