The painting work was not an easy task, they had to get above a restricted side extension and an awkward conservatory but they finished it in the promised time and even did some extra painting I hadn’t asked for but which finished the look of my house even better. Very pleased.

Level Garden for Steel Shed
My Expectations: Conversation about what stages of works were going to be completed for example: Soil preparation removal of weeds Making level with hardcore Laying concrete with formwork for square corners And retaining. Good Housekeeping Findings: On arrival delivered the contractor delivered, The slab onto the ground with slumped curved corner that was not large enough for the structure to sit on. There was a root coming through the concrete laid. Also no retaining methods were used Left area very messy. I contacted the contractor to rectify, this had to be micromanaged as they were not going to tie in the existing concrete to the new. Ensuring formwork and retaining system was used. Also I provided hardcore as I had to tell them not to include metal paint lid as hardcore. They left leaving the area messy and failed to put away my hosepipe or clean the items they used. They left without having a conversation regarding the completed works. Also there was pooling issue adjacent to the garage elevation due to the slab not being level, it had dips in. In terms of scoring : Quality / workmanship - Poor Cost - Good Tidiness - Poor Communication - Poor I would not use them again.
