Simon came across as a friendly, reponsible and polite tradesman. He did a wonderful job with a bespoke shoe rack which was built specially to our requirements. Having gained our confidence and built up our trust with this job, we therefore had no hesitation handing him the full cost of over £1200 to design and build our alcove shelving with cupboards, when he asked for it citing money issues. That was our biggest mistake as he has since done a runner. We have been unable to contact him since over the last year either by email, text or over the phone. Needless to say, there is no alcove shelving and we are also out of pocket. Simon Bettesworth of SB Joinery is what gives honest hardworking tradesmen a very bad name.
