From making the phone call S&D roofing came straight out re fitted 2 no guttering unions very professional removed all rubbish would without hesitation would highly recommend 10/10

This was a job i posted at the end of last year, before winter, due to some leaking from the roof into the loft and leaving puddle marks on my bedroom ceiling. They were very nice to talk to on the phone to begin with, and quoted me for £1600 for everything that needed repairing/replacing. paid it and got it done. After the repairs were done i noticed for several weeks that one of my exterior walls were constantly humid from right under a place were they did some repairs so i contacted them about it. They said they will send someone from their team to have a look and more or less passed me from one person to another, or not answered the phone at all, till January or Feb (roughly 3 months after I reported the possible issue) when someone came eventually. Because they showed up unannounced I was at work and only my wife was home. They eventually called me as well, they seemed rude on the phone and impatient, told me there is a serious problem with the lead and that is why the wall is constantly wet and has nothing to do with the repairs they did and if i wanted fixed it would cost at least £800. I left it like that telling them I will think about it and that was it for a period. Now that rainy season started again in the area i started having puddle marks on ceiling again right next to the initial one - meaning that after I paid them £1600 to fix the leak it seems to still be there. Looking at it now it seems that the roof lead was the problem from the very beginning but for some reason I was told by them the issue came from other areas. They also told me i need to remove the mortar and relace it with dry verge plastic covers which I did ( included in the £1600) however at the one of the end edges the remaining area was too short to be covered with a dry verge and instead of filling it back they left it uncovered - don't know if it affect the loft in any way but there is a draft coming from there when in the loft. Overall - nice initial experience then when told to come have a look because there might be possible issues with the repairs they were passing me from one person to another, not answering the phone and when eventually showed up after 3 months they seems rude and in a hurry to leave. What I also regret is that before all the issues happening I recommended them to one of my friend - same initial experience, put dry verge plastic covers and more than half of them fell. When my friend called them it took them 2 weeks to come see it - they did say they will repair it at a later that day and never came back. Now they aren't answering my friends calls nor emails. I cannot call them a serious company nor professionals with the experience both myself and my friend had.

When they came out to quote the job he was very honest, and gave a competitive quote. Once i decided to choose this company, they were out within a couple of days, they got the job done in a couple of days and took pictures of any issues that needed sorting. After the work was complete they cleaned up after themselves and removed all rubbish from the sight. They were all very friendly and worked efficiently. Provided us with an invoice with a 10 year guarntee. I couldn't be more happier with the job that they have done, thank you

Very reliable and great communicator

The workers was great more than helpfully has i expected the quote did go fro 300 to 1500 but they y spent over 1 half days at mine.
