Roofcraft roofing and building have done the most unsatisfactory job on our roof. They finished reroofing property on 15th February. As I was cleaning guttering left in an unacceptable state I noticed that a lot of tiles replaced were broken! On further investigation the two valleys had cement washed away. Today 9th March I have water leaking into my hall. Since February 15th I have tried on numerous occasions to contact John Nelmes the owner of Roofcraft. He spoke to me once then totally ignored my calls. I used several different phones so that he would answer but as soon as he realised it was me he did not want to know. I have e mailed my complaint to him but again no response. I paid for this job as agreed and his work is so say guaranteed for 10 years. This is not even 10 weeks. Also he hired a skip. Before he left I did mention that the skip was too full to be collected but he assured me it would not be a problem. I have since contacted the skip company direct and not only is the skip too full apparently John Nelmes has not paid his account. I have levelled the skip but still can't get it collected. The skip company is trying to contact the company without success. I have today had another company out to assess my roof. It appears it might have to be completely redone as even the batons are not spaced correctly meaning the tiles have not got the correct overlap. The site was left in an unacceptable each evening they left Again I tolerated the situation and brushed the rubble into a neat pile so that we could access our front door. I find it hard to believe that anybody can trade like this.

Roofcraft roofing and buildingFor one there was never any mess and you would never let us do are work always on the roof with us your about 80 years and we ssinf your not aloud for insurance purposes u are a ex builder and expected the rooof before we left and u was happy with it cause you paid 2 days later there was no problem with the roof like I said to you if there’s any problems in the future contact me and I will sort it I don’t get one people like you do it one bad review and it’s a persons reputation on the line shouldn’t be aloud even your wife said to u get off the roof you was happy and as for messy we even spend 2hrs jet washing your drive no need for the review I will be reporting it to my job quote and if anyone sees this avoid this bloke as he will ruin your reputation
