Fix leaking single storey conservatory roof

Repointing
Initially, I believed the job had been completed satisfactorily. What else could I do, I am 80 years old and could not go up on the roof to see for myself so I believed the roofer and his photos did not indicate any different. However, some 5 months after the job was completed the roof leaked again and despite several messages and emails left asking him to get in touch as the roof was leaking again I didn't get a response, though I know my messages were being received. I therefore, to save any further damage to the property due to rain ingress, I had to get another roofer to repair and correct the work done by RDRS roofing and pay another bill. I have sent a written request to the roofer to refund half of the payment I made based on incomplete work that I paid for but which the second roofer said had not been done and some work done (rebidding of roof ridge tiles) incorrectly. Again, I have had no response even though I have told him that I will go to the Small Claims Court to obtain recompense and gave him 14 days to respond which is now almost up. The genuine tradesmen are not a true reflection of the way this person has let me down badly. Paul Brooke

Roof Repair
Did part of job ok but then charged me £180 for lead he had another man help him to do roof on my porch and he said would give lead that was left to me he didnt the job was a mess concrete very uneven. Could not get in touch with him he changed his phone number did not give me a receipt although I had asked for one so I could send to insurance dont know what he did with lead that was left. would not use this firm again

Roof Repair
Bradley was very keen to quote for the job. We agreed on a price on work he was to carry out, on the morning he was supposed to attend and carry out the work he failed to do so. He did not inform me he had changed his mind and also failed to respond to my messages as to why. Hire him but beware he is not reliable.
