Ridgeline and Flashing Repair
So I waited a while before leaving this review to give Balfour time to response to me but the service provided by Belfour unacceptable. He chased me up to get the job and after getting a few quotes and his being in the middle range and reviews on here being good I went with him. After scrapping together all the money I could to pay for the needed repair the day came and it was not him working on the roof but another man, which while ok, please let me know there is another person at my house. On the day of the work, before the roofer (maybe not really a roofer but just a handyman), I noticed that some mortar was missing on the ridgeline and he filled it in but it was not until I went into the loft a few weeks later (my mistake for not doing it on the day) and see there three spots of light shining through the ridgeline where the guy did not fill in the mortar and light near the flashing of my chimney they were supposed to fix which was not there before the work! So I messaged Balfour, was ignored. Phoned him and left message, ignored. Messaged again, ignored again. So he has taken all the money I have so I can't get another roofer out now until I can save more money, and he is not willing to correct the mistake by ignoring me.

I thought the guys were very friendly got on with the job in hand were very professional and very flexible with the payment arrangements I will definitely use RBL services again highly recommended

Balfour and team did a good job. Polite and courteous. Balfour advised re my work requests and was able to suggest that certain works were not required, which of course saved me money. Work done within time scale advised. Happy with Balfour and the jobs undertaken
