Avoid This Tradesman at All Costs! I strongly discourage anyone from hiring this individual, Ray, as my experience has been nothing short of disastrous. He took my money, delivered subpar work, and damaged my items in the process. Ray constantly harassed me for payments, made promises to be on-site himself, and then brought strangers to carry out the job. When I inspected the work, it was riddled with imperfections, and asking Ray to fix these issues was met with hostility and further demands for more money. He overcharged me for materials purchased on my behalf and only provided receipts after I insisted—and by then, it was too late, as I had already paid him. He outright stole over £100 and has yet to refund me. I hired him based on claims of professional work, including sanding and painting woodwork to a high standard. Instead, our walls were poorly prepped, the paint is peeling, and they even painted over new items, demonstrating shockingly low standards. Additionally, do not be misled by the name “R F Decorators”—this is not a registered company on Companies House, despite how it may appear. Do not be fooled by his reviews or promises. If you do decide to take the risk, ensure every detail is agreed upon, receipts are provided before payment, and all work is inspected thoroughly. However, based on my experience, I would urge you to stay far away from this company and spare yourself the frustration and financial loss as I’m having to pay extra for someone else to rectify the work.

R F DecoratorsThis person is only out to scam people never pays on time and never turned up on time rooms that was supposed to be plastered before I started working was not even started three weeks into me being there then when I had to stop working as it washed ready just decided to try and get a refund for all the work I had already done saying I hadn’t finished in the deadline she had set so if anybody can advise me how I can decorate rooms with half a ceiling and bare brick work before the plasterwork was done feel free
