Initially engaged to paint and decorate three bathrooms, hall, stairs landing and two rooms. I received multiple text messages daily between 2100-0030 about the job and chasing for a deposit to ‘hold the place in the calendar’. The quote price increased twice after it had been sent in writing, Melody (the MD) visited the house three times before saying anything about the quote change (after it had been sent) and then changed the duration of the job, again after the house had been visited multiple times by herself and her team. She then asked for more money for paint (we ended up buying the paint) and asked for more money after a deposit had been paid as agreed in the contract. She then gave me the option of seeking another contractor to do the work and when I took this offer up she refused to refund the £800 deposit.
