Really lovely person who did not make me feel silly for asking when I had no measurements and no real plan but wanted an idea of the money it would cost to extend across and out from my kitchen. Asked questions to help them get an idea and then gave some quotes and suggestions - perfect and lovely

Internal Renovation / Reconfiguration
Good quality tradesmen not just plastering but all they can do all building work including structural masonry work and carpentry. Clean and tidy reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with.

General Maintenance
Montpellier Builders. Had two of the team helping me on renovation project. One skilled carpenter and one semi-skilled labourer. Carpenter was very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. They had requisite tools to undertake tasks. Turned up on time and worked agreed hours each day. Reliable and pleasant guys. I think joint hourly rate was high considering one of the two man team is skilled and the other not so. So you have to find separate unskilled tasks for the second guy to keep him occupied whilst carpenter is working on his own. However I agreed the rates with them in advance so fair enough.
