I found Allan, a very professional all rounder. When Allan came round to price up and look at the job I found the way he conducted himself and his comments about the work, very professional indeed. From the formal quotation and the final invoice I am blown away by Allan's professional conduct. The formal quotation was in the form of a PDF document, well laid out with links to the retailers websites, which demonstrated a range of products available for the job and related prices. Providing sections in the document with related headings and breakdown of the work model under each section respectively. When Allan came to do the work he just got on with the work and provided me with regular work updates and product options from the preparation to completion. Final invoice. Very well laid out to include images of the product receipts for the expenditure in which he incurred. Overall 10 stars. I would highly recommend Allan Carr. Repair Water Damage and Paint Rooms
I met Alan about 6 months ago he came round to give me a quote for my living room which had been damaged by a leak from the chimney stack that caused water soot marks all over the walls and ceiling. This guy gave a fare and honest price compered to other painters and decorators I had round trying to double the price as they knew it was an insurance claim. I called Alan around 6 months later and he said he could fit me in no problem and started work with 2 weeks He explained everything that needed to be done and a possibility that an extra day might be required to clean the window frame as the soot had gone on to the mastic and turned it yellow and he needed to use glue remover to get the dried mastic off. What a job well done this guy is a perfectionist the attention to detail is incredible. There isn't a mark to be seen on the walls or the ceiling and given how high the ceilings are in my flat, I was quite amazed everything seemed to have been done with just one ladder. The P.V.C window frame that looked like series hard work is now back to it's former glory Alan arrived at agreed times and when the job was completed you wouldn't of notice he been there apart from the excellent job he'd done, Would I invite him to come back and work for me again we'll the answers simple 100% yes Many thanks Alan
