Unfortunately this tradesperson didn’t show up for the job. We agreed a price on 26th June and he said he would be in touch to arrange a date- I sent a message on 1st July asking how we were getting on for a date and he said the week, after next - fine. The end of the following week I messaged again asking nicely if he thought he would be able to start the following week , he said yes later in the week. Held up by the rain. Fine. Messaged the end of that week saying did he think he would be able to start the next Monday? So he said, he would message me over the weekend with a day. By the Monday I hadn’t heard from him so messaged again asking about a date- he said he was struggling to finish the job he’s on with illness but would be onto my job once finished the one he’s on. Left it to end of the week and messaged again and he said next week definitely, he would give me a call start of week to go over everything. That last message was 1st august and I had been messaging since 27th June. And I never ever got that phone call. Have given up now, if he doesn’t want my cash then someone else can have it.
