Review of Marks work, let me start by laying out the vision which I shared with him. I had a massive office, at the back of the room was a walk understairs cupboard, my idea was to cut the office down in size a bit, open up the cupboard and add a Utility room. When Mark came over he understood what I was after even with the pocket door I wanted (I had in a USA house and they are so useful), he was great and we agreed to a 2 stage job. To be honest this was so I could see the standard of his work as much as anything else. We agreed on a good price that I was happy with, he was able to start within 3 weeks, which was perfect for me, gave me time to tidy things up and find temporary storage. Mark started on time as promised and cracked into the work as we went along, he was very good, when on the first day I changed the job slightly and added a new tile floor in as well, this didn’t seem to faze him. I also informed him that I had purchased units for the room (which I got from the Netherlands), which again didn’t faze him that he had never dealt with them before and it was different to what you normally get in the UK. We discussed how we will make it work.
