Agreed for MayDay heating and plumbing to swap over a radiator for me. Initially very helpful and on time. We discussed two options for the work – 1 dig up the floorboards move the pipes, 2 – cut the pipes and use extenders. In the end I agreed that if he could make it good without pulling up floorboards then I was happy. Completed the job – and to be honest I didn’t pay enough attention to detail and paid him Following closer inspection, it was clear the pipes connecting to radiator were running at a very funny angle and no longer straight. When I questioned this over text with him, he assured me that this was the natural angle of the pipes and that originally, they had been pulled straight under tension. After several exchange he agreed to come back and fix it. However, he failed to arrive on two agreed slots. 1st time van broke down, 2nd time he was ill. We had a lot of other work that was waiting on this task being complete. I decided to drain the radiator and uncouple the pipes to see how big a job it would be. This is when I found the pipes bounced back to straight position. They had been bent back under pressure to fit the new radiator. Ultimately the radiator hadn't been fitted properly. I am very disappointed with the service and as there are many good reviews which is why I went with him.
