I am an honest, hardworking, and trustworthy young man looking to gain experience and an opportunity in joinery where I can thrive and gain practical hands-on skills. I successfully completed 12 weeks with Tigers learning skills like joinery and brick laying. I have also completed work experience with a joinery firm where I was able to begin learning the trade. I would consider myself to be a young person who is willing to learn and always strive to give my best. I am reliable and will always try my best to see any tasks through to the end and commit myself to working well with others or taking tasks on my own and complete them to the best of my ability. I am keen to develop my skills and undertake any further training to help me achieve my goals.

Work experience
Urban Union April - May 2024
I worked with Urban Union as part of a work experience placement, where I worked as a joiner’s apprentice and learned about site safety, various aspects of the site along with the various trades all on site at similar times and the jobs they do. My duties included working with the joiner to carry out work such as wall & ceiling insulation, partition sheeting, fire taping, flooring, skirting, Kingspan walls and roof & ceiling sheeting.
Education and Training
Workingrite Pathfinder programme January 2024 – Ongoing
I am currently attending the Pathfinders program through Workingrite. I am working on my employability skills and have completed a work placement where I was able to gain experience in the joinery trade and learn practical hands-on skills. In my time with the Pathfinder programme, I have completed accredited SQA module in Responsibilities of employment along with gaining my green labourer’s card.
