I have been learning my trade as a joiner for 27years and enjoyed it every day. I served my time working for a small family business called cozzee homes based in and around Fife, building tradition homes and timber frame houses from the ground up until the handover of keys to the client. Which I feel has given myself the skills to carry out my trade to the highest level. I also spent a lot of my years on commercial sites mainly in standrews on student accommodation and other university buildings, in the town using metal stud partition systems. But went back to working for the private house builders mainly being Campion homes and
Robertson partnership homes who were the main contractor for kingdom housing association, building affordable housing for rent for fife Council and other housing associations across fife and also Edinburgh. Carrying out all aspects of joinery needed to complete the houses to the highest standards required by NHBC and other governing bodies involved with house building and also many extensions, attic conversions for customers in private houses helping to add value to there property but also making it a more modern space to live in. Working closely with architects i enjoy projects where we remove walls and make the main living area ov the property open plan which suits the busy lifestyle that most of us have. I take great pleasure giving advice and help clients with any questions related to my trade which I feel I have managed to master over the years but still enjoy learning new skills and different systems every year
