I am a sole trader, plastering/rendering and general diy. I have 3 years experience and have never been out of work since!!
I have and still do work for another sole trader who I sub contract too , we have been on some amazing jobs. He has 30+ years experience and I have been there to learn and gain the knowledge I now have.
I work very hard , the best part is making sure the customer is more than happy with the outcome of the work and the finish is clean and precise.
One stand out project last year to me was a job we done in lacock. We needed to plaster 2 very large units. All rounded edges around the window they could not be square as the architect was from Paris and that was his requirement. Plus a lot of curves on the ceilings. Pictures are in my portfolio.
I can carry out general diy projects where required. When starting out I invested in nice new tools to get some jobs around the house sorted and took great enjoyment out of it.

Qualifications
City and guilds - Level 2 diploma in plastering.
Apply plastering materials to interiors.
Fit dry lining and plasterboards to interiors.
Laying sand and cement screeds.
Applying plastering materials to external backgrounds.
Health and safety welfare in construction.
Principles of building construction, information and communication.
