Dylan was great from start to finish, from coming out and giving us a quote, then getting the materials and the job done within the time frame we wanted it to be completed for, Dylan and his brother also went above and beyond on the work carried out. We will definitely use this company again, we would recommend them to anyone looking for any roofing work to be carried out, as I say they we great from start to finish, very reasonably priced. We are so happy with the work carry out.

I advertised our job on this site. Within 12 hours, Dylan called to arrange an appointment to view the work. He called at the agreed time to check on the problem of a water leak around our chimney. Then he submitted a quote within 24 hours. We had a discussion back and forth regarding the problem and the best way to solve it. Dylan responded promptly with knowledgeable replies so we decided to accept his quote, which was much lower than the other quote we had received. We wanted to get the work completed quickly. Fortunately, Johnston Roofing had a gap between jobs, so they squeezed our job in 2 days later. On the morning agreed, the scaffolders arrived about 9 am, by 10 the scaffold tower was assembled and ready. Dylan and Ciaran arrived about 9:30 after picking up the materials needed. They got to work quickly, stripping off the broken lead flashing and lifting tiles & felt around the chimney to check for any rotted wood sarking. Fortunately, the wood was not rotted, so they fitted new lead flashing, new felt and replaced our tiles. In addition, they replaced cracked and broken cement from the chimney with coloured cement to match the sand stone colour of the chimney, fitted a new "elephant foot" chimney cap and applied new pointing as needed. The work was finished by about 3 pm on day 1. Both Dylan and Ciaran had taken many photos of the work as it proceeded and was completed, so they were able to show us "before and after" pictures, which was very reassuring because we could not climb the scaffolding to check everything ourselves. Dylan and Ciaran were friendly, obliging and helpful. Our whole experience with Johnston Roofing was very satisfactory, and we will certainly contact them again when we need more roof repairs.

I cannot praise Dylan and Ciaran enough. From the start when I posted the job they arranged to come that afternoon and Dylan had a very competitive price for me that night. Because of the very wet and changeable weather they had to change the start date however they kept me informed. The whole job was peppered with delays because of the dreadful weather but I was always kept informed of the changes. If there were any issues during the job I was always consulted for my approval. Dylan and Ciaran carried out this job in what were challenging circumstances because of the very changeable weather and it was completed to a very high standard and always in a courteous, friendly and communicative way. I would certainly recommend them highly.

I would like to thank Daryl and Kieran..Johnston Roofing..for a speedy job very well done! I was given advice from the very beginning, before they even were asked to do the job. I very much appreciate that they were punctual completed the job and cleaned up everything before leaving! My mum and l could not be happier!
