Home Trades is a father and son skilled tradesman business consisting of Ron (me) the dad and Rich my son. As a team we complement each other and small or major project we always listen carefully to what our customers' requirements are then provide them with the highest quality of workmanship.
Before concentrating on working with householders to improve and maintain their properties I spent 6 years as a subcontractor working on new build sites all over the north-east of England, installing kitchens and bathrooms. It was during this time that Rich came to work with me – joining straight from school. Over the next few years he completed his NVQ level 2 in kitchen and bathroom fitting and gained his CSCS card. After 12 years on the tools I think he now has the right to call himself a skilled tradesman and I am 100% confident in his ability to complete work to my own exacting standards.
Together we have a wide building trade skill set and have many years experience on the tools. We specialise in kitchen and bathroom installations carrying out all the trades, except plastering, ourselves.
Our electrical work is covered by NICEIC where we are a recognised domestic installer under the Part P scheme.
We have always worked and will continue to work the only way we know how...taking great pride in the work that we do and making customer satisfaction our paramount aim.
