Build garden wall in front yard
They were not skilled in bricklaying did a very bad job and left it unfinished. Mortar was not added to some bricks, Pillars were not lined up to the wall and lots of mess on the pavement and road. The side wall was out of line so had to come back to rebuild, still not lined up to the pillar. The quote stated railings but did not do them because of more cost. They promised to come back and denied any problems. They didn’t use a spirit level at any point. The whole wall had to be demolished and we had to commission another builder to complete the job. The company harassed me whilst on holiday after I advised I would pay them on my return but ended up paying £1,500 for a bad job. We had already paid £500 for materials but did not receive a receipt. The company also harassed the builders when driving past using abusive behaviour. Very childish and stating that their wall was fine. They don’t appear to have qualifications in this field so would not recommend.
