Plumbing repair was done very promptly and all was explained before work begun. Very pleased with everything that was done. Would definitely use this company again.
To start with, he told me that he was from Proflo(w) when asked. My fault, I should have double-checked! Dan did the bathroom and kitchen sealing to a reasonable standard but the water-damaged tile repair in the kitchen was barely adequate with irregular edges and tiles left dirty and smeared with grout. (I had to supply a new tile as he smashed the original when removing). In addition to the sealant job in the bathroom, I asked Dan about the water pressure as there had been recent mains repairs outside the property and since completed, the pipes were very noisy. Dan asked where the combi boiler controls were and was told they were in the airing cupboard. He went up and had a look and then told me that I needed a shock arrestor to be supplied and fitted downstairs on the pipe above the mains tap. I agreed, the work was done and I paid Dan in cash - £500 in total for all the work (£300 for the bathroom/kitchen work and £200 for the shoch arrestor). A couple of weeks later, I was in the airing cupboard and noticed that there was a shock arrestor already fitted! I text Dan to ask if it was really necessary to have had a second one installed. This was ignored. I followed up with 2 subsequent texts 3 and 6 days later asking him to reply to my initial text. These have also been ignored.
Fantastic communication leading up to the job and on the day. Dan was efficient and cleaned up afterwards. Couldn't be happier.
DANIEL WAS PLEASANT PROFESSIONAL AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB REFITTING A WOBBLY TOILET. PRICE INVOICED WAS EXACTLY AS QUOTED FOR THE JOB. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Dan comes across very polite and professional. He attended a leak at a rental property I own promptly. Highlighted the issue, charged me £70 for his time to investigate the job which I paid. He then explained it was quite a big job, and the work would cost a further £300. I agreed and he contacted the tenants, to arrange access for that Friday. He then cancelled on the day stating his van had broken down. Obviously not his fault, so we agreed to wait. 12 days later, after limited updates, and several unanswered chases, we were still not aware of the date Dan was planning to attend, so I sourced another plumber and requested a refund from Dan for the quote. Dan refused to refund and claimed he had us booked in for that Friday (two weeks after the original date), except he hadn’t communicated this to myself or the tenants? His van had been fixed prior to this, but we were apparently in his backlog, despite being the job he was traveling to when his van broke down? The alternative plumber attended the day after we called him, changed a plastic elbow on the boiler condenser and fixed the leak during the visit charging £96. He inspected the additional pipes Dan had stated needed replacing (urgently) and concluded they were in good order. There was no understanding from Dan, of the frustration and inconvenience we had all experienced. I even offered not to post a review if he did the right thing a refunded the quote charge, but he refused. If anyone needs a reliable plumber, I can recommend an excellent one……. just not Dan!
