Bedroom Ceiling and Window Decor
Mr Donnelly promised to do a complete paint job in the guest bedroom, re-paper the ceiling and remove mould from the window area - and to do so in no more than one week. I advised a tight timeline, with my wife returning from a stay in hospital. He not only promised meeting the deadline but assured me all would be done professionally and would be no more than £550-£600 max, to include materials. He did expect two increments of £300 each in advance towards material and hiring a labourer to assist him. I reluctantly agreed, and that soon appeared to be a big mistake. While Mr Donnelly started the work, he quickly fell behind with sub-standard efforts, his labourer (never seen) allegedly backed out, to be replaced by his father. Donnelly cancelled two subsequent appointments, blaming a breakdown of his car. When he returned, with his father, already past the week he promised to do the job, he made a half-hearted effort and stopped, saying the weather was too hot-but also saying he needed more paint and materials for at least two coats of paint and sealant for the ceiling (itself poorly started), requested a further £425. I naively agreed, but did so where the clock was ticking on my wife’s return, and with her condition, she was obliged to have the facilities of the guest room, rather then the main bedroom. The inevitable happened -more excuses were made, and Mr Donnelly did not come back, despite my payments, and my wife returned. He initially replied to my text, lying about coming back when it suited me, until the replies stopped. Meanwhile, the guest room looked shoddy and Mr Donnelly effectively absconded with more than £1,000 of my money, making it difficult for my wife and her carers. In the end, my wife passed away six weeks later, and it was in the undignified circumstances of a room I had striven to refurbish to help make her more comfortable. Letting Donnelly know had no effect: he has stolen my money and, knowing that I am grieving for the loss of my wife, must surely doubt I will pursue him.

Fine Paints DécorI didn't kno your wife passed away as the work ti done was when she was alive I'm terrible sorry about your passing and I dud say on many time I can come and finish the work that was needed and also pay you back ad ut was you that paid upfront I didn't ask for money from you and I can pay you back not a problem
Multi-Room Painting and Refresh
Craig did an amazing job!! The quality of his work, precision and skill on the job is fantastic!! He worked with me on the colours, sending colour charts to find the right shades, he communicated with me regularly providing updates, photos & videos. He worked extra time where needed to get the job finished. Really impressed overall! Highly recommended!!!
