Mike was a pleasure to meet, very bubbly and he completed the job no matter the hurdle, after finding issue after issue. He also stayed to help with a silicone job that was not part of the original quote, all free of charge.

Completely unprofessional! Mike called me to book in a quote for 27th August. Didn't turn up. No worries it was bank holiday maybe he didn't realise when booking. Rescheduled for 9am Wednesday, he turns up at 11.30. Book him in to start work Friday. He shows up at 1.30pm and is only able to get a small start before leaving at 4. Confirmed he'd be coming back Monday between 9-12. Nope, he shows up at 3.30pm, takes a look around and leaves. Comes back 9am-6.30pm Tuesday. Exept he only does 4hr 15mins of actual work. The rest of the time he's on his phone or "getting materials". I have cctv to prove this. Finally rescheduled the remainder work for Wednesday. I had a floor plan drawn up with a specific tile arrangement (only had a certain number of specific tiles and I didn't want it to look uneven). My husband spent an hour showing him exactly where the tiles go and imagine my surprise he hasn't followed the plan. When I communicated with him i wasn't happy because he didn't follow my plan, instead of admitting he made a mistake and understood I was upset, he totally jumped the gun and started throwing a fit, accusing ME of wasting HIS time. He left mid job with a half tiled floor and no functioning toilet in the entire house. I'm still astounded how he had the nerve to say I wasted his time when he has NO respect for other people's time. All I did was say I'm not happy, I didn't spit on his tiling and tell him to rip it out. Don't care what kind of bad day you're having, to throw a fit like that that out of nowhere and leave a family without the use of a toilet at 6pm at night is the most unacceptable thing. So if you hire him don't give him any criticism he clearly can't handle it. Nor can he handle reading a floor plan apparently.

Really happy with the experience here. Our job wasn’t attracting any responses and I suddenly got a call out of the blue from Mike at Eco Gas. Came around and confirmed our diagnosis, got us booked in and then fixed our issue, then didn’t charge extra when we found a duplicate issue (loose pipe) further down our network. Clearly knowledgeable and knows what he’s doing - also a good network as he was able to sort us a plasterer to fix the access holes within 48 hours. Highly, highly recommend.
