I unfortunately cannot comment on the final quality of the contractor's output as in honesty, I was forced to cancel the job in its current state of progress for various reasons as outlined below, thus ending the works before the job was complete. Throughout the process communication has been quite poor and generally Declan does not stick to times he says he will show up, even when you specifically agree these. Appreciate there may be factors which impact this, but some communication would be helpful. Project management also requires some work, as the initial estimates were off on what materials were needed and he repeatedly needed more money. I didn't really see any of the materials that were purchased. These were agreed to be handed over and / or for some sort of a refund to be issued, but this has not happened. I would advise if entering into a working relationship with Declan, that you purchase the materials yourself and keep on the premises and agree to settle accounts only after the work is done for labour purposes. As I am now out of pocket and needed to hire a second person to finalise the work needing done.
