Very quick and efficient.

At the beginning all was going well but over time I noticed there were some rough cuts e.g., corners with trim that could have been done more neatly first time round, but when asked to change this and other bits this was amended within reason. I wanted to give full marks but on the last few days the rush on workmanship is showing in the bathroom today. Some grout areas have tiny holes in them, a few tiles chipped, grout in the corners show lots of crowding that need to be trimmed back. Overall, his advice on tile arrangement and types/colour of grout was good but the finish grout/silicon was a little disappointing. In the bathroom the pictures (far back) looks like a lovely job, but close up there are areas for improvement e.g., using tape when applying grout near window frame or doors etc would have avoided the uneven build up which is now more obvious after the grout has dried. Also a one or two tile cuts have more grout than others as not all where cut as evenly as they could have been around the window and basin shelf. Finally the silicon finish could have been better (I feel this is due to the fact he was rushing himself out the door). The job took him a little longer than he anticipated. I genuinely wish him the best in his career as I feel he has a lot of potential. Just next time towards the end perhaps pace yourself to not rush and the reap the rewards of any workmanship that you do in the future.

Tom was very polite and professional in his demeanour. He worked efficiently and it was lovely to see how he cleaned up his work area thoroughly after he had completed the job. I have no hesitation in recommending Tom to any one who needs a tiler.

Tom did a great job installing the kitchen splashback. He left the kitchen clean after the work. Happy to hire him again for other similar job.

Personal issues aside, this job was a nightmare. It was dragged out for weeks due to various issues (some out of our control). The end work is sloppy (we have a un-level basin and sealant used to fill large gaps). Cash was demanded up front and I didn't receive receipts for anything. I have been left to tidy up the work with sealant etc. which was not agreed to at the start. Tom is a nice guy, but I don't understand tradespeople who will happily mess their clients around. Communication is key and I had to chase Tom for a couple of weeks for him to finish the work. I would not use him again as I would be concerned it would be the same issues again.

Quality work, excellent time keeping

Tom made an excellent job tiling our kitchen. He is really professional and left everything clean. Very pleased with his service. I would highly recommend.

Excellent, Tom is very friendly, honest and takes pride in his work. Tom took his time, not rushing ensuring a good quality finish to his work. Both appointments were prompt, work completed in quoted time and budget. Would highly recommend, I will be using Tom again for future work
