Fix Boiler and Actuator Issues
Andrew is nice and experienced gas Engineer who completed the job efficiently, he also helped us to tighten nuts on some radiators and prevented water leaking of radiators. But I am not happy with the company Boilerguard, as the quote price £295 for replacing both the valve and pump on phone call, but written quote only mentioned valve replacement, then I called again to clarify and was told to replace both valve and pump. when Andrew came to do the job, he was told only replace the valve, it will charge £412.60 for replacing both valve and pump. The parts cost of Tower APUMPHE pump and Drayton Mid-position valve is about £150 on Amazon website, add vat is £180, the total time from arriving and leaving our house is 1 hour 11 minutes on the job report, therefore, the Laber cost is £232.6 for 1 hour and 11 minutes. It's too expensive for replacing valve and pump for central heating.

Boilerguard UK LtdHi Yunxia, First of all from your post you advised the 3 port valve was stuck and you could not even move it manually hence I was able to quote you to supply and fit new 3 port valve complete. That means valve body and head or also known as motor., it would not be possible for me to diagnose a faulty pump over the telephone. Secondly we do not purchase our parts from Amazon to supply to customers, we use reputable suppliers that will honor the warranty of the manufactures should a part fail. I will apologies if there was any misunderstanding on your behalf but I was very clear on what we were coming out to complete. Also when it was found the pump had failed too we priced the pump to you at cost price with no extra labour. So due to information above advised I do think you are very unfair with a 2 star review.

Annual Gas Safety Certificate for Boiler
I recently had a boiler service and gas safety inspection carried out by Boilerguard UK, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their service.
