This has been, by far, the worst experience I’ve ever had with a tradesperson. I hired Billy to renovate my small bathroom, and although he initially made a great impression—friendly and seemingly knowledgeable—the reality was far from it. His quote was significantly lower than other specialists, which I questioned, but Billy assured me that both the budget and timeline would be sufficient to complete the project. Unfortunately, as the work progressed, it became evident that Billy's expertise was limited to plumbing and he lacked the necessary knowledge for a full bathroom renovation. This resulted in significant delays and unexpected additional costs. Worse still, he made several mistakes during the job, including plumbing, one of which caused a leak in my neighbor’s property—something I now have to cover out of my own pocket. The final finish of the bathroom was poorly executed. After making the final payment, I discovered even more serious issues: the shower and towel rail were improperly installed, and my boiler had completely stopped working. When I contacted Billy to resolve these problems, he didn't respond and then blocked my number. Now, I’m left having to hire a plumber, a handyman, and a mastic specialist to fix the mess he left behind. The entire experience has been both incompetent and dishonest. Save yourself the headache, time, and money, and look elsewhere if you need a bathroom renovation.

Billy came at very short notice (same day) to replace a broken bathroom basin. Upon arriving he realised there were no valves on the sink itself to turn the water off and then that the main valves to the water upstairs were broken. Billy took this in his stride and not only fixed the broken main valves, but added new valves to the sink, so we wouldn't need to turn all the water off in future if we had another problem with the basin. He had spare basin accessories with him that were needed and that I hadn't realised would need to be replaced too, which was great as we didn't then need to arrange another visit to complete the sink replacement. We had a problem with the radiators following his visit that we couldn't resolve ourselves and Billy promptly returned the next day to resolve the issue and ended up fixing some other small plumbing jobs around the house while he was there. Billy is competent and a problem solver. The basin was finished to a good aesthetic standard - it was fitted better than the basin it replaced! I would also add that Billy was very polite, friendly and unassuming, which made for a relaxed and comfortable visit. I wouldn't hesitate to call Billy again should we need a plumber in the future.

Billy did an excellent job of changing one of our radiators and he treated our central heating with cleaner and inhibitor too. He is an honest hardworking guy and we would recommend him. His quote was reasonable too.

Performed the job I posted online competently & efficiently. I had also asked him to do another job (changing the flush mechanism in the downstairs toilet) which did prove more problematic and necessitated a 2nd visit, but fortunately he was able to come the next day and make everything watertight. Honest, competitively priced workman. Pleased to have found someone local, whom I can call on again as and when the need arises (as my previous plumber of 8+ years is now no longer available for private work).

Billy was excellent. He arrived on time and fixed an issue with high standard. We were happy with the his completed job. Thank you Billy :)
