My name is John Allen, I'm based close to Morpeth in Northumberland.
I have been installing new bathrooms and repairing existing bathroom problems for more than 25 years. In that time, I’ve come across most of the issues that bathrooms tend to throw up and have had to come up with some creative solutions sometimes...
For some reason, I keep being drawn to the jobs that no one else seems willing to tackle!! I guess I'm a bit of a sucker for a challenge... But I do love the reward of seeing a beautiful bathroom rise from the ashes of its previous incarnation....
I can fix everything from the shower cubicle that won’t stop leaking to a full bathroom refit with tiles, lighting and plumbing. I’ll always do my best to try and repair something rather than just tell you to throw it away and get a new one.
I am professional, reliable, LGBT+ friendly, non-smoking and will provide the highest standard at a reasonable price.
I sometimes require the services other local trades as part of the work I do and can provide contact to an electrician, a plasterer, a tiler and a flooring installer if required. All of these trades people have worked with me before, I’ve seen their work they and come highly recommended by me.

We needed an existing shower tray and enclosure replacing with an easier access product for my wife who has mobility problems. John was the only local tradesman who bothered to respond to our request. From day one he has been friendly, courteous, and very professional, and suggested a positive and practical solution to our problem. He provided an affordable quote for the job, and a realistic timescale so there was no time wasting. The job was completed to an excellent standard, even though removal of the existing shower cubicle revealed tiling and structural problems. He was able to make the necessary repairs, and fit the new enclosure and tray. We are extremely satisfied with his work, and have no hesitation in recommending him to any potential customers.
