Replace broken outer pane of front door
Dan/Dean/Damon (he goes by different names) He asked me for a deposit for the glass, which I paid because other tradespeople had asked for one as well, but then he came up with ever crazier excuses for why he couldn't come to fix the window. When he didn't even bother to explain the 6th missed appointment, I cancelled the contract and demanded my money back. To his credit he agreed to refund me, but as before, his promise was hollow. He ultimately refunded half my deposit when I threatened to report the case to Action Fraud. All attempts since to contact Dan/Dean/Damon to recover the other half have been in vain.
