Repair Leaking Skylight and Roof Inspection
A&S Roofing did a good job. Their initial quote was fair. They came out as agreed to inspect the roof and I was able to compare the quotes. They demonstrated knowledge of the job to be carried out and were able to complete the repair of the immediate leak the same day. They gave me good clear advice for ongoing repairs, again demonstrating good knowledge of the job. The next most urgent repairs were completed 2 days later. The repair was described to me as it progressed and backed up by photographic evidence. Any unexpected setbacks were clearly described and I was consulted before further necessary steps were taken. They worked quickly and carefully, causing very little disruption.After they had finished, they tested the repair with water. They were obviously proud of their work and the finished look. They.cleared up completely afterwards leaving no rubbish or debris. They gave me a full report of the work carried out and suggestions for further work to make the roof leak proof. My only negative was that they were a bit too demanding regarding payment, giving me very little time to arrange my funds. It turned out that they had just had a bad experience with a client who owed them a considerable sum. Most unfair indeed, but it was a negative for me on that point. I would definitely use this company again if they are available, and am already considering the next stage of repairs.
