About
I am a local time served electrican with 16 years experience in wiring new build houses for builders such as Barratt, Persimmon, Cala homes. I have been a sole trader since November 2013 and since then my customers have included private home owners, landlords requiring mains wired smoke alarms and EICR's, re-wiring older properties, kitchen wiring, small builders extensions and renovation work. I am an NIC-EIC approved contractor and also an AICO (smoke alarms) expert installer. NIC-EIC is a voluntary regulatory body within the Electrcial industry where experts independently verify qualifications, public liability insurance, make sure a complaints process is in place, assess competence on a regular basis and ensure that relevant technical, safety standards and codes of practice are being met. AICO is europes leading domestic smoke alarm manufacturer and I recently attended a course where I was guided through latest regulations and legislation.
