The contractor Neil arrived and introduced himself and took no time to identify the requirements for this job, giving details at each stage of the of the washing machine instalment. The job seemed to take no time to complete . All areas were clean and dry. A good job well done.

Floor Tiling
Work done was done okay, this work was done for my elderly grandparents, a down side was that we were left with a lot of waste to get rid of when he said he would be back to remove this then disappeared Once he had been paid and came back for his tile cutter after it sitting in the garden for a week only to say he’d be back the next day to take the rest to the tip so it sat in our garden for a a good long time and he never showed, the job went from a 3 day job to a 3 week job Which we were more than patient with but we were just glad it was done and over.

Adept Home ServicesRobert, thank you for your comments. Its not the entire story though is it, removed the original shower tray and what greeted me was a “pond” and a very stagnant one at that. The walls and the floor of the bathroom were sodden, to say the least, two of the walls the backing board had turned to putty. The delay in the works was in allowing the walls their studding and surrounding area to dry out somewhat before I could install anything new, it was bad very bad. I kept you updated constantly as to the delay and the reason why. Re-boarded lower walls, tanked and tiled, all outside of the original quotation. Altered drastically the original disabled aluminium shower surround gates, and reinstalled perfectly. All in all, I made a silk purse out of what was a 100% sow’s ear!! Even though I say it myself. 13 hours extra labour FREE of charge, if I got pedantic, more like 20 hours. Dumfounded really, well you live and learn! Some bagged waste left behind, well I apologise for that will arrange collection. Regards Neil.
