Very good worker. Finished job was fantastic. My only problem was his time keeping said he would be here at 8 to 8.30 am and arrived at 1.45 was late everyday. But was very pleased with him and would use him again but just not listen to the times that he gives

Very good job good guy

I hired this guy, Teodor Anghelinei, based on a number of positive feedback I saw on myJobQuote. However, hiring him proved to be a big mistake for me. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with any tradesman. I can not in my honest opinion recommend this tradesman to anyone. What work he & his colleague, Ionut D Bagu, did carry out for me I felt in my opinion was done poorly. For example there was a large gap between the plastic panels which he fitted to the walls where water could potentially enter. When properly installed there should be no gap. Later I showed other tradesman the job he did and they seemed to be appalled by the work. Also some of the things he agreed to do in a written quote he just didn’t want to complete. He was finding excuses for why he couldn’t complete items even though he attended the site to inspect and quote for the job and the work and it was all captured in writing beforehand. Things were polite throughout but at the end I just wanted him out and was going to pay him the full amount anyway to be shot of him. I asked for an invoice for the work and then he kicked off. He said what he quoted was a cash price apparently to be paid into his personal account. He also wanted £20 for petrol on top for good measure. For information his quote was one of the more expensive quotes I obtained on par with ones from big reputable companies. He was not cheap. He said If I wanted an invoice I would have to pay 20% more. Clearly If he had mentioned this to me before I awarded him the job alarm bells would have rung and I would not have hired him. I told him that this was never mentioned and he knew I was operating as a business and would want a receipt and that his tax affairs were his business not mine. The conversation then moved onto the quality of his work which caused him to lose his temper even more and he started running up and down trying to dismantle and pull stuff of walls like my old wash basin and the bath. I repeatedly asked him to leave the property but he refused. When ever his temper flared he would run up and down the stairs with his bag of tools trying to take things down. I wanted to call the police but there was no guarantee when and if they would arrive and what damage he would do until they did. I had to get him out of the house so he couldn’t do any damage. When I mentioned I was going to call the police this infuriated him even further. His colleague, an Afghani guy, who I had not seen before who had turned up at the end managed to calm him down. But I was still on edge as was my wife who was distressed. I agreed to pay him the full amount without a receipt and without all the work being completed just to get him out of the house. I eventually paid him by bank transfer without any information or receipt or as to who he is or his business address other than a bank account.

Teo is an excellent worker. I had mold on most of the bedroom walls and on the ceiling. He tackled it professionally and in a way I didn't think possible. the work was done to perfection. The price was very fair. I will use him over and over again.

Teodor was great, polite and helpful. He took his time to complete the work well and to a professional standard. He did a great job. I highly recommend him and his company.

He is the best! He tackled every bit of the job like the pro he is. We are so happy with the kitchen tiles and room walls. He is incredibly hard working and the finish to his work shows he cares to do a good job. He is very polite and competitively priced. He solved problems along the way and worked late to get the job done. Will use again Highly recommended!
