Warning – Will not honour 5 year guarantee Lance was very quick to come out first time to do the work and take payment but the roof repair has already failed after only a year I reported the fact that the roof had begun leaking again in exactly the same spot to Lance over a month ago and he has still yet to offer me a date when he will come out despite numerus phone calls and texts and will now not even get back to me. He has so far left us with a leaking roof in our bedroom for over a month and it now seems that Lance will not honour the 5 year parts and labour guarantee he promised on the roof repair.

Chimney Building / Repair
Lance contacted us in April 2020 in response to our advert on this site looking for a roofer. We arranged a date for him to come out, and he completed the job for £130 cash, which we thought was reasonable at the time due to lockdown. He gave us an invoice with '5 year guarantee' written on it, and we hoped that that was the problem fixed. Unfortunately the damp has come back in the same place, so we naturally assumed that either his work hadn't been adequate or the bad weather had caused further damage to the same area. I contacted Lance via wattsapp and he confirmed his work was covered unfortunately however, he doesn't seem very keen in returning to fix the problem. Initially he said he'd had an operation and wasn't working at that time, so we allowed him some time to recuperate. We then arranged on 2 separate occasions for him to come back and fix the issue but he did not show on either occasion and is now ignoring my messages. I would NOT recommend this trade as he clearly does not honour his 5 year guarantee and seems to be just after a quick.buck.
