advice of reusing or recycling 15 year old composite boards

I have an old deck made of composite boards. I am thinking of having it removed and getting artificial grass laid down in its place. Are the materials worth anything in itself? Could I sell these materials or do anything to them after being removed to add value to them? Can they be recycled and sold on? Or are materials of this nature too worn down and risky to use for reconstruction? The decking has been around for over 15 years now and of course it's accumulate quite a lot of corrosion and other damage over time.

Is it better to replace guttering or a roof first? My family and I are considering giving our home a revamp. So we’d need to consider which should be replaced first in this regard.
