    Are heat pumps noisy?

Are air heat pumps noisy? We're considering having one installed once our renovation gets to that stage but we're unsure whether the unit that goes outside will annoy neighbours or disturb our peace.

Cleaning caked on grease from oven door

How do I get my oven door clean? I've tried a few 'hacks' but they haven't worked. I think it's because the grease has hardened on over time. Any tips or product suggestions that will work?

    Water tank room

Over the back of where I live there is a block of flats that has a water tank room and I've noticed the last few weeks there is a constant humming noise and vibration coming from it that I can here and feel from my house. Its got worse each day. I have reported it to the company who manage the block of flats and they said they sent an engineer to inspect it and he couldn't here anything witch is ridiculous and he must be toned death. Do you think there is a fault and should I report it to the environmental health at my local council?

    Underfloor Heating Manifold Fault

We have a GEC night storage boiler which a specialist has confirmed is working properly. The boiler heats the water that flows through the underfloor pipework. We believe there is a a problem with the underfloor heating manifold which means that the 5 wall thermostats have no control over the underfloor heating. Currently, we charge the boiler all night in order to get any heat the next day. The daytime heating is throughout the whole house even though we only need it in 1 room at any time. The night storage heating is used up sometime in the early evening. We need someone to diagnose the fault with the manifold.
