  • How much does a man cave cost?

We have a long garden and I'm thinking of building a completely separate man cave at the bottom of it. I know prices can vary depending on spec, but I'm looking for rough costs for different spec hideouts? I'm going to finance this so rough is fine just so I can assess if it's feasible. I'm located in Manchester if it makes a big difference. Also, if I got this booked in Jan do you think it'd be possible to have it done by May/June?

ox with some kind of reinforcement bar?

i am cutting a hole in a brick wall to put in a through the wall mailbox. The wall supports a brick pillar holding an iron gate. The pillar will not be able to support the weight of the gate once disconnected from the support of the wall. Is there a way to tie the pillar to the wall over the top of the new mailbox with some sort of reinforcement bar?

cost of fitting a pressured-treated softwood decking in an area of roughly 15 square metres

I would like to have pressured-treated softwood decking fitted in my back garden. I currently have a garden of 40 square metres and it is entirely covered by real grass with the exception of a small garden shed. We’d like to have the decking fitted just beyond the back door and covering an area of about 15 square metres. What total cost can I expect for this installation work from a professional decking fitter? That is between both labour and supply costs.

    Window Lintel Work

I have noticed a line of bricks above the 2nd floor window are about 1cm from the layer directly above, does this requiring a lintel? Is this a big job, how long does it take. Should a bricklayer or window specialist do the work, finally would it be best to have both windows on the same level have new lintels added. Do the windows have to be removed if so is a bricklayer or window fitter best for the job. Halesowen Area, West Midlands
