    Sharing neighbours scaffolding

    My neighbour is having scaffolding put up on his roof. He's saying I could go 50/50 on the cost to have my chimney checked at the same time as it looks like it needs repointing If I used my own roofer to do the job would they be ok with using another contractors scaffolding?     As part of my new kitchen I've had an old socket removed which has left a hole about 6 inch by 7 inch and 1.5 inches deep, and the box is still in it. This wall is going to be tiled, but what's the best way to fill the hole ready for tiling? Can I use foam and poyfilla or is this something for a plasterer?
